Barcelona Ready for Historic Match at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday

Barça revealed they will play at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in the Spanish league over two years after they moved out so building work could begin.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available with 45,401 fans can be present based on approved permits. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold almost 105,000 spectators, a rise from the old capacity. Officials confirmed recent additions comprise a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.

Recent Activities

The club conducted an open training session at the Camp Nou earlier this month. The club said they are seeking authorization from European football’s governing body to play their next home Champions League game against Eintracht Frankfurt on 9 December at Camp Nou. They have been hosting matches at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
