Helicopter Spins Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Popular California Coast
A helicopter hovering near a crowded California shoreline abruptly commenced twirling uncontrollably, ultimately dropping height and smashing into a line of palm fronds as onlookers watched.
Recordings posted on the internet show the helicopter commencing to spiral above the shoreline then falling towards the edge of the beach, where it becomes wedged between palm trees and a steps close to the coastal road.
First Aid Update
The Huntington Beach fire department reported five individuals were transported to a medical facility comprising two who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the accident on the weekend.
Three individuals on the pavement were hurt. Specifics on their wounds were not yet released.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
