The Prince of Wales Plans to Join COP30 Climate Summit in South America
The Prince of Wales will represent the United Nations climate conference in Brazil in the coming weeks, as confirmed by the royal household.
The father and son duo made a joint appearance on Thursday evening at a gathering leading up to the climate summit, which is planned for in the Amazonian city of Belem.
The King and Prince were participating in the Natural History Museum reception, marking an noteworthy combined presence at a environmental conference preliminary meeting co-hosted by the UK government.
Environmental Advocacy Dedication
The King has been a consistent supporter of biodiversity preservation - and Prince William has taken on the baton, with his own environmental prize initiative, which will be taking place in South America before the climate conference.
Official representatives have described the Prince's participation at the forthcoming conference as stepping up an important role in "global climate discussions".
Previous Activities
The King and Prince of Wales, arriving together in the royal vehicle, were welcomed participants featuring environmentalists, researchers, climate change campaigners, foreign representatives and government officials.
This involvement involved presentations alongside President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic and other world leaders at the Blue Economy and Finance Forum in the Principality of Monaco during the current year.

The UN meeting will dovetail with the William's personal sustainability recognition program, which will wrap up in Rio de Janeiro the eve of he joins the climate conference on November 6th.
